Mont St Michel
It was a fine day when we visited Mont St Michel. The skies was a beautiful blue, sunny and windy. We were lucky this one day in winter. The tourist crowd was significantly lesser and we were able to enjoy much of the beauty of this little town.
We took the local shuttle bus to the town. We didn’t know we could walk, till later we saw some people strolling along the only path leading to the town. Anyway it was good that we took the bus because if we did walk the wind and sun would have not been in our favour 🙂
Alittle fact : Did you know that Disney’s Rapunzel castle is modelled after this place?
Up close of this incredibly small town that winds around this abbey/church.
Such pretty streets.
The quaint charm of this old winding streets, though entirely touristic, under this beautiful morning light made me feel like I was going to buy my first wand along diagon alley! I love all the unique and cute signs like the one below : The mermaid, Crepe Cafe.
The view from the foot of the abbey was amazing. It was low tide but such an amazing view to see nothing but miles and miles of empty land. Nothing is build around or near it and it used to be pilgrimage path for those strong in faith.
The tinted glass windows of the abbey.
The view from the balcony gardens of the abbey.
Thank you for the amazing photos. I would to visit this amazing place.
Thank you John, I hope someday you will. And you are such a wonderful spirit, I read your post about helping the lady find god again. I believe in the same values as you with god, nature and beauty 🙂
All of us need to know peace. Hard to find for some. Good to have met you.

Well you have all the time! When she’s older perhaps! I hope your dear one is feeling better these days! ❤️
