Indonesia village life
Though this isn’t the first time I’ve seen such scenery, it always takes my breath away. We were taking a van to drive from Borobudur to another smaller temple when we stop by this stretch of road. Its an elevated road between several paddy fields, surrounded by palm trees and picturesque mountains. This was probably the epitome of SouthEast Asia.
I think, when you think of travel, of memories you’d like to take back from your crazy backpacking in Asia this would probably be it, of course, if you’ve already been to Asia, you probably could name 100 things more than this. But for someone whose never been, I think this would be it.
The setting is just so unreal, I love how this look like a picture you’d see in a 1930s travel photo or something from national geographic. But its all organic, the house next to the paddy field, the banana trees and that leaning palm tree. Just so postcard perfect.
The farmers hard at work in the rice paddies.
On the road again.
