Ferry ride in Hong kong
Hong Kong Island seen from Kowloon side. Taken with a 5 Second shutter (I think? Raphi took this one)
The days during our trip was less than ideal in Hong kong if you’re there to see the night lights. There was a low mist that covered both islands every night and well most of the time you just see blurred lights but for short moments, we’re able to capture some pretty good images.
A great way to travel around Hong kong is by their buses and MTR, it’s the fastest, most convenient of transportations. However if you find the time, or you’re a tourist, I’d definitely recommend you to take the tram and the ferry. The public ferry cos almost the same if not lesser than an MTR ride from Hong Kong Island to Kowloon and it’s just an awesome way to see the harbour without paying a crazy price for a river cruise.
Most locals don’t really take the ferry so you basically have lots of free space to run up and down the boat and take pictures from left and right! No squeezing and rushing for the trains!!
The interior of the boat, it’s almost empty but to be fair this was taken on a 9pm ferry ride from Hong kong to kowloon, I think the work crowd has already left.
The boat shimmering under the blue and pink hues of the night and the reflection on the sea.
The nights where you could see the harbour, it felt like I was on the set of some BATMAN : RETURN OF THE NIGHT! or some Marvel comic story plot. High towers, misty tops, mysterious glow of the night, I just need a Batman signal.
Us goofing around with our cameras trying to get a shot of the night lights ❤
Good night people.
